Murfreesboro Police Add New K-9

The Murfreesboro Police Department added K9 “Juice” to the Patrol Division K9 program today. Officer Greg Brown and “Juice” graduated from the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department’s K9 training program. The six (6) month, United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) approved training, certified Brown and “Juice” in missing person tracking, felony apprehension, evidence location, handler protection, and building searches.

“Juice”, a two (2) year old German shepherd replaces retired K9 “Murph”. Officer Brown has been a K9 handler for five (5) years and a police officer for a total of nine (9) years with MPD.
