Manson Pike/Fortress Blvd Realignment Project
Expected Lane Closures: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00PM: Contractor will be installing final paving and striping on the new section of Fortress Blvd, John Rice Blvd and Manson Pike. There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions


Maney Avenue Street Improvement Project (between SE Broad Street and College Street)

Expected Road Closures: Tuesday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:00 PM: Road construction work continues along Maney Avenue between Broad Street and E Castle St. This section is closed to through traffic including the intersection of Maney Avenue and Castle Street. Access drives to the local residents and businesses will be kept open at all times. Motorists are advised to use Highland Ave and Academy Street travelling north/south and State Street and Vine Street travelling east/west. Work continues with road closures

Lytle Creek Sewer Replacement Project (Intersection of Hickerson Drive and West Castle Street)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday - Thursday: South Walnut from West Castle to the dead end section will be paved and open to traffic. Final surfacing will be done at a later time. Detour signs will be in-place. Work has begun on both sides of S. Church Street near Lytle Creek. Work continues, minor traffic interruptions.

AT&T Fiber Optic Project (N Academy St, E College St and N Church)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM: The contractor for AT&T will be installing underground fiber optic cables along N Academy St, E College Street and N Church Street. There will be minor lane closures. All work will be done off-street with minor interruptions at driveway entrances and exits.

Veterans Pkwy (New section between Barfield Road/Kimbro Road and Barfield Crescent Road)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM: The contractor will be installing storm drain across Barfield Road at the intersection of Kimbro Road. Clearing and grubbing work continues off the street between Barfield Road and Barfield Crescent Road. There will be lane closures at the intersection of Barfield Road and Kimbro Road. The traffic on Barfield Road will be controlled by stop signs. There will be flagman during the day managing the traffic.

Sewer Improvement Project (Front Street between Main Street and Broad Street)

Expected Road Closures: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 3:00 PM: Sewer improvement work will be performed on Front Street between Main Street and Broad Street. There will be partial road closure and traffic interruptions on Front Street. Access to local businesses will be kept open. Road will be closed to through traffic. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.

MTSU Phase 3 Project (Intersection of Greenland Drive at Wiles Ct)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 2:00 PM: There will be partial lane closures on Greenland Drive at Wiles Court. The contractor will be installing underground utilities. Work continues, minor traffic interruptions.

TDOT Re-Paving Project (Old Fort Pkwy between Cason Lane and NW Broad Street)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM: The contractor for TDOT will be milling and re-paving Old Fort Pkwy between Cason Lane and NW Broad Street. Milling work will begin Monday night on Old Fort Pkwy at NW Broad Street moving west to Cason Lane. There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions. All milling and paving work will be done at night.

TDOT Re-Paving Project (S Church Street between Indian Park Drive and Broad Street)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM: The contractor for TDOT will be adjusting castings on S Church Street between Indian Park Drive and Broad Street. Milling work will begin next week. There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions. All work will be done at night. There will be no work done during the day.

Annual City Street Paving Project

Expected Lane Closures: Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM: City milling and paving crews will working on the following subdivisions: Expect lane shifts and traffic interruptions during these operations.
