Flu Shots Offered This Coming Saturday At Linebaugh Library

Free flu shots offered at the Linebaugh Library from 9AM-1PM this coming Saturday for persons with Medicare, Medicaid or TennCare cards, as well as employees of the State ofTennessee (including MTSU and Tricare). This community service is being offered by CVS Pharmacy and all that is required is the insurance card and for recipients to be 9 years of age or over.

The vaccine provided is Fluvirin by Novartis. It includes H1N1 and two strains of seasonal influenza. The duration of the coverage is 9-12 months. CVS will provide two copies of the vaccine immunization record and a CDC vaccine statement information sheet to each patient. The shots will be given by a pharmacist who has been trained and certified by the American Pharmacist Association and the American Red Cross.
