The old hospital on Highland Avenue is almost gone. The original 1927 Rutherford County Hospital is history, and as you can see--so is the ER, newer surgery area, newborn area, and even the lobby entrance is feeling the bite of the crane. The Arnhardt Medical Office Building (seen in right side of photo) is the next on the chopping block.
