An MTSU student was thrown to the ground, punched and choked until he passed out last weekend on Medical center Parkway. Murfreesboro Police reports indicate the man was leaving a party on Park Avenue when a man threw him to the ground and began assaulting him. Others joined in and the victim heard one say kill him. The man passed out after being choked. The victim was treated for his injuries at MTMC. Authorities are still looking for witnesses in the case.
