We continue to report a number of cases involving copper theft. Two of the latest happened in the Memorial Boulevard area at cell phone towers. An employee there told Murfreesboro Police someone took several pieces of copper wire after cutting through a fence around the cell phone tower. The stolen copper was estimated at over one-thousand dollars. At another cell tower site just a few blocks away, copper thieves got away with over 10 pieces of copper, also valued at over one-thousand dollars.
