Here's a traffic alert for those who drive South Church Street. There will be bridge work that will reduce the roadway to one lane in both directions. It's the bridge over the Stones River. They'll work around the clock through Monday morning, just before rush hour, to complete the work. They're repairing some of the concrete on the bridge. Expect more roadwork to slow your evening and overnight commute. State resurfacing projects on Old Fort Parkway and South Church Streets are expected to continue between 8 in the evening and 5 in the morning thorough November 15th. During the overnight hours, traffic on these busy roads is reduced to one lane.
