In addition to the outside celebration, the Rotunda of the Murfreesboro City Hall featured a pictorial history of some of the Heart of Tennessee's rich history. Past City Councilman Bill Shacklett (center of photo) presents Mayor Tommy Bragg with a marble slab that features pictures of the local city halls over the past 200-years. Local Historian Gloria Christy, who is also Bill's sister, helps with the presentation.

A large gathering enjoyed the historic photos from Shacklett's Photography, while also visiting with neighbors during the Bicentennial Celebration.
