Shortly before 8:00 o'clock Monday night (10/17/2011) a pedestrian was hit in Smyrna. The accident occured on the Old Nashville Highway, near Stewartsboro School. The victim was taken to the Trauma Center at Vanderbilt Hospital. Smyrna Police have not released the name of the injured man.
