As the Better Business Bureau celebrates its golden anniversary, they have a gift to help protect you from identity theft. From 9:00 to noon this Saturday morning (10/22/2011), the local BBB has a free shred service set-up in the parking lot of Lowe's in Murfreesboro (1825 Old Fort Parkway). 

The old saying One Man's Trash Can Be Another's Treasure takes on new meaning in this age of identity theft.

BBB Vice President Beth Furbush told WGNS News, "More than 18-million Americans have been the victims of identity related fraud over the past two-years".

This Saturday's Better Business Bureau "Secure Your ID Day" is a free servfice to this community. Again, it will be from 9:00 to noon this Saturday morning in the parking lot in front of the Murfreesboro Lowe's on the Old Fort Parkway.
