Rutherford County Schools are not closing early as suggested by a Nashville television station. A text evidently went out suggesting they were closing, but they are not. WGNS spoke to the county schools and they told us they are not closing early for any reason whatsoever.

The text was sent out by News Channel 5. The TV stations website suggest they were working on their snow closings program when the text was inadvertently sent out.
