Murfreesboro Police want to know who defaced a tornado memorial. The memorial is on the Murfreesboro Greenway and is a tribute to Kori Bryant and her infant daughter who were killed by the tornado on Good Friday in 2009. The memorial also explains how numerous residents saw over $41-million dollars in damages as a result of the winds that swept through Murfreesboro. There is no surveillance video at the site of the memorial, so police have little to go by in determining who defaced the placard. Reports indicate a Parks and Recreation Department worker found the defaced memorial about 2-weeks ago.
