Tennessee Tech will begin their college football season Thursday (Aug. 31) in Cookeville as they battle Western Illinois.

The Golden Eagles, in the second year under head coach Marcus Satterfield, have several players from Rutherford County who are expected to make a big impact on the team's success this season.
