Persons traveling along Thompson Lane around 7:00 o'clock Tuesday night (12/13/2011) wondered what was going on when one, two and three police cars sped by with blue lights and sirens blarring. When the fourth, fifth and sixth squad car blew-by, motorists started calling WGNS for information. 

Initially, it was not known whether the domestic violence situation was inside the Murfreesboro City Limits or in the county. As officers surrounded the residence, it was determined that the home was in the county. 

Lisa Marchesoni with the Rutherford County Sheriffs Office told WGNS News that one arrest was made.
