The Rutherford and Cannon County Bar Association held its monthly Continuing Legal Education Luncheon on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. At the meeting, Circuit Court Judge J. Mark Rogers swore in the 2019 RCCBA Officers.
The 2019 RCCBA Officers include four Murfreesboro attorneys: President Scott Kimberly (Law Office of W. Scott Kimberly); Vice President Jennifer Potts (Young & Potts); Secretary Catherine Mekis (Law Office of Catherine T. Mekis); and Treasurer Joshua Jenkins (Hagan Law Group).
The program also honored Immediate Past President Kirk D. Catron (Kirk Catron Law), who served as a bar officer for four years and served as RCCBA President in 2018.
"What makes this job easy is that we have such great lawyers in this community," Catron told program attendees. "This job is often thankless, but it's made easier by such a great group of lawyers."
