A motion was filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court this month to authorize the distribution of funds to creditors and individuals hurt by the late Bob McLean who was accused of swindling millions of dollars from individuals and businesses in 2007. Investors sued McLean for over $50-million dollars. According to court documents, some will be paid as little as $41 while others, like SunTrust Bank will receive over $300-thousand after seeking more then $2-million. McLean committed suicide in 2007 after investigators discovered his Ponzi scheme.
