Four suspects were charged with initiation of methamphetamine production during an all-day investigation Thursday by Rutherford County Sheriff?s Narcotics division. Narcotics detectives obtained a search warrant for Scott Mooneyham?s home at 3423 Blackman Road after receiving information about an illegal meth production, said Narcotics Detective Lt. Egon Grissom. Detectives found evidence of a meth production in the duplex rented by Mooneyham, Grissom said.

Suspect Sarah Loftis, 19, of Lebanon, was charged with initiation of methamphetamine production after she suffered minor burns on her arm. She sought help for her injuries at Crescent Market on Barfield-Crescent Road. Loftis was confirmed to be pregnant. More charges may be pending.

Detective Sedric Fields charged Mooneyham, 30, and co-defendants Robert Holland, 32, of Lebanon, and Jessica Ferguson, 26, of Mt. Juliet, with initiation of methamphetamine. All four were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspects were booked into Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. A hearing is pending in General Sessions Court.

Grissom said Tennessee?s Methamphetamine Task Force cleared the drug production materials from the home. The damage was believed confined to Mooneyham?s side of the duplex. The homeowner will be responsible for the clean up of the duplex. It?s quarantined until a certified meth clean up crew does tests,? Grissom said, adding anyone who tries to enter may be charged with criminal trespassing.
