First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro will be celebrating 200 years of history next year (2020). But right now, the congregation is celebrating a new pastor.

Again, Dr. Shelly completed his undergraduate degree in engineering from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville. Next he attended Memphis Theological Seminary, and later earned a Doctor of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.
