MTSU School of Journalism & Strategic Media's Dr. Larry Burriss shows there's much going on in our world: the presidential campaign, hurricanes, mass shootings, climate change and maybe a recession, or maybe not. Not exactly a slow week for news. And right in the middle of it, some 85-thousand people gathered in Atlanta for the annual celebration of Star Wars and Star Trek, Middle Earth and Planet Earth, artificial intelligence and artificial life forms.
