(MURFREESBORO) Saturday (10/19/2019) saw a misty rain and temps in the mid-sixties, but that did not slow several dozen volunteers who joined the Rutherford Arts Alliance in the historic business district to paint colorful murals.
The creative event took place on the east side of the building at 117 East Vine Street, one block from the historic Rutherford County Square.
Local celebrity artist and Murfreesboro native Norris Hall designed the mural, and encouraged the entire community to pitch in and paint by numbers.
The Rutherford Art Alliance is working to identify, unite and promote arts, culture, and heritage throughout Rutherford County, Tennessee.
