The woman accused of murdering former MTSU Lady Raider basketball player Tina Stewart will be in court to face a first degree murder charge on May 7. In the meantime, the family of Stewart has named accused killer Shanterrica Madden and the Raiders Crossing apartment complex in a wrongful death suit. The suit totals $20-million and accuses the apartment complex and the management company for a lack of action. In the suit, off duty police officer Tim Jensen who was working as a courtesy officer for Raiders Crossing, was accused of finding out that Madden was smoking marijuana in the apartment she shared with Stewart, but allegedly failed to get police involved in the incident. The suit claims that had Jensen notified police about the marijuana and stayed in the apartment until officers arrived, then Madden would not have killed Stewart. Apparently, Stewart and Madden argued about Madden's use of marijuana in the past.
