It started with a basic traffic stop because of expired tags and ended with the search of a man’s apartment. 21-year old Michael Charles Ehlinger was pulled over earlier this week near his apartment and when police searched him they found prescription drugs in his possession that he did not have a prescription for. Officers then asked for permission to search his nearby apartment where his roommate, 22-year old Lucas Robert Obrien gave consent for police to enter. Pills to relieve panic attacks, pills for attention deficit disorder and pills for anxiety were found in the apartment this week during a police search. Police also found a small amount of marijuana and 23.5-grams of illegal mushrooms in the apartment located on Palmer Drive in Murfreesboro. The two men were charged with manufacturing, selling or delivering drugs and with simple possession of a drug. The duo will have to appear in court to face the charges in March.
