Operation Christmas Care - cards for our wounded warriors who are currently in a military hospital, is in full swing!!

Lee Ann Newton with the card program told WGNS, “We still have wounded arriving daily - despite the news that the war is over and/or winding down.”  “I spoke with a director at Brooks Army Medical Center - BAMC (now known as the San Antonio Army Medical Center - SAAMC) and he said they had 800 wounded right now with a disturbing increase in triple amputees,” Newton stated.

Newton plans to send out cards in not only America, but also American bases in Landstuhl, Germany and the Kandahar, Afghanistan hospital.

Cards can be purchased from a store or handmade by you or your children. All cards are accepted, but Newton ask that politics be set aside as you deliver your Christmas message to our soldiers.
