Police are still investigating a robbery that was reported this past Friday night on Memorial Boulevard across from Jones Car Wash. Shortly after 8:30 Friday night, the victim who was closing the Cash Express store for the night was accosted by a black male in the parking lot. The subject pushed the store employee to the ground and grabbed her purse and the deposit bag for the business.

After the assault and robbery, the culprit fled the scene in a red vehicle that was being driven by a second black male. The victim ran to a nearby business for help and called the police. The suspects were not located after the robbery and an arrest has not been made.
