Murfreesboro Police Officer Christopher Pitts not only was the first person at the home of a domestic violence victim when things got rough. She said that Officer Pitts listened carefully to her problem and gave advice on how to be safe. The victim wrote that Officer Pitts did not leave until she felt safe.  The woman said that she had been afraid for her safety for a long time, and it was comforting to know someone truly cares about her safety.
