(SMYRNA) Around 2:00 o'clock Friday (6/26/2020) afternoon, Rutherford County Fire Rescue received a water rescue call to Weakley Lane. The person who phoned 911 told the dispatcher that a sailboat had flipped. 

This was the section where the Stones River gets broad and joins Percy Priest Lake. 

One on-the-scene, responders from RCFR learned that bystanders quickly came to the boater's aid and rescued them. 

Rutherford County Fire Rescue assisted by helping return the sailboat to an upright position. 

No one was injured in this incident.
