Following a meeting of its Executive Board and COPE Committee held earlier this week, the Tennessee AFL-CIO Labor Council is announcing its list of endorsed candidates ahead of the August 6th State and Federal Primary Election.

"Whether they are longtime champions of or newer advocates for working families, our membership believes that this list of candidates will best represent our interests in Nashville," said TN AFL-CIO President Billy Dycus. "Many of our legislators have lost sight of what actually matters to their constituents, and we're tired of inaction. In the midst of a pandemic and economic crisis that is impacting each and every Tennessean, it's time to stop the partisan games and put working families first."
