(MURFREESBORO) Murfreesboro's 2020 Independence Day fireworks show has moved to the Gateway Area near Medical Center Parkway. This year high altitude fireworks will be used, and you can enjoy them over a wide area.
No Sound System (must tune to radio 7:00-9:30PM)
There will not be any PA sound system, to hear the guests and fireworks set to music. You will need to tune-in WGNS (AM 1450, FM 100.5, FM 101.9 and www.WGNSradio.com. That broadcast begins at 7:00PM and the fireworks countdown is at 9:00PM tonight (7/4/2020).

Since the fireworks will be detonated near the new Murfreesboro Fire Hall #4, for the public's safety--Medical Center Parkway will be closed to traffic between West College Street and Gateway Boulevard.
