The active cases of COVID-19 in Rutherford County continue to rise and the total deaths have risen six to 47 (as of July 26).
In data released by the Tennessee Department of Health, 47 people in the county have died, six of those since Tuesday (July 21). In the period July 18-24, there have been 20 new hospitalizations in Rutherford County due to coronavirus.
The number of active cases has grown by 239 to 2,671 since July 18th. There have been 5,127 total cases reported locally.
There have been 6,201 total test given in the period from July 20-24, with a 14.1% positive rate.
