Lonnie Drayton will be back on the basketball sidelines at Smyrna. The former boys basketball coach and current softball coach will add girls basketball to his resume.

He was recently tapped the head coach, replacing Shelby Moore who resigned after one year to take a middle school job in another county.

Drayton will be the third girls coach in as many years for the Lady Bulldogs. After five-years as boys coach, he was an assistant under Shawn Middleton before taking over the softball program in 2015.
