(MURFREESBORO)  The Middle Tennessee State University Board of Trustees will hold committee meetings on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.  They are open to the public. • Audit and Compliance Committee: 11 a.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes and the annual Audit and Consulting Services report; recommendations concerning a new policy and rule, and risk assessments; and, information concerning compliance and enterprise risk management updates.

• Academic Affairs, Student Life, and Athletics Committee: 1 p.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; recommendations concerning new academic degree programs, new academic degree under consideration, and The Chicago Statement; and, information on SACSCOC Fifth-Year Interim Report, Data Science Initiative, and Athletics.

• Finance and Personnel Committee: 2 p.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; and, information concerning fiscal year 2019-20 update, Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, fiscal year 2020-21 budget update and classified employee grievance annual report.
