(SMYRNA, TN)  A Honda clipped a utility pole while traveling along North Lowry at Sam Hager Streets early Monday (8/10/2020) morning and shut-down one lane of traffic. 

The silver Honda Accord EX split the pole just about two-feet above the ground, spun around, flipped and landed on its top near the Shell convenience station. 

Officials with the Smyrna Fire Department say the crash occured aound 3:00 o'clock Monday morning.
