MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee State University Board of Trustees will hold a rulemaking hearing and its quarterly meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15.
The livestreamed meetings begin at 1 p.m. from the Miller Education Center, Second Floor Meeting Room, 503 E. Bell St.
- At the rulemaking hearing, the board will consider Rule 0240-07-06 Title IX Compliance. A copy of the rule is included in the meeting materials, which may be accessed athttp://bit.ly/mtsutitle9.
Interested persons will have the opportunity to provide comment, present facts, views or arguments as concerns this rule. Those wishing to participate should be present in the second floor atrium at 1 p.m. Social distancing will be practiced and masks are required. Public parking is available in the lot on the southwest corner of Highland Avenue and Bell Street.

- The quarterly board meeting will be open to the public via livestream only due to COVID-19 precautions and social distancing requirements in line with current public health guidelines for indoor gatherings.
The agenda includes reports from board committees; approval of items including minutes; the annual Audit and Consulting Services report; risk assessment reports; new degree programs; the Chicago Statement; a proposed policy; and, information including updates on diversity efforts, and reports from the president and board secretary.
