(MURFREESBORO) Dont let the Labor Day weekend cost you more than it should! Police are out in "full force" and promoting such programs as "Booze It Or Lose It", "Click It Or Ticket"--activities that promote safe driving, boating, swimming, walking and having a safe holiday.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation has halted all lane closure activity on interstates and state highways for the Labor Day holiday travel period. Construction crews are off the job now until 6:00 o'clock this coming Tuesday morning (9/8/2020). This will provide maximum roadway capacity for motorists traveling during the Labor Day holiday.
Make certain that you wear seat belts, don't drink and drive and obey the speed laws. In other words, don't let the Labor Day weekend be more expensive than it should.
