In response to the COVID-19 health crisis, the 2020 Special Kids Play “FORE” The Kids Golf Classic has been constructed around recommended health precautions. This includes social distancing with scattered tee times and boxed lunches, which was well received during their tournament this past June.

Special Kids is a Christian therapy and nursing center for children with special needs. The Murfreesboro-based ministry started with one child in 1998 and has grown to serve over 4,500 children from 19 counties in middle Tennessee. 

The upcoming event will be at Cedar Crest Golf Course on Mona Road this October. The funds raised at the event on October 23, 2020 will help to fund the much-needed care provided by the local non-profit, that some families can’t afford due to ongoing medical costs.
