(MURFREESBORO)  Just before 2:00 o'clock Saturday afternoobn (9/26/2020), Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue gots a "fire call" to a home in front of Oaklands Mansion at the corner of Roberts Street and N. Highland Avenue.  

As units neared the fire, they reported smoke was in the air. Firefighters quickly worked to extinguish the blaze. 

The fire marshal is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. 

The home was unoccupied, and there were no injuries to fire personnel at the Saturday afternoon blaze.
