A bank robbery that occurred this past Friday (10/2/2020) in Murfreesboro remains under investigation. Murfreesboro Police Lieutenant Clayton Williams told WGNS News about the robber (hear soundbyte below on WGNSradio.com)…

Nearby Middle Tennessee Christian School was placed on lock down after the bank robbery took place, due to the school being directly down the street.  Northfield Elementary School was in the process of dismissing, and the School Resource Officer stood guard until students safely boarded buses.

The Murfreesboro Police Department is assisting the FBI in their efforts of identifying the culprit behind the crime. The case remains OPEN

More Details on the Description of the Robber: The robber was wearing a surgical mask, an orange hooded sweatshirt, a baseball cap, black pants, and black low-top sneakers.
