(MURFREESBORO)  Around 6:00 o'clock Saturday night (10/10/2020) Murfreesboro Police were called to the 2100 block of Memorial Boulevard where a pickup truck hit a tree and the driver was trapped. 

Murfreesboro PIO Larry Flowers told WGNS that Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue had to free the driver who was trapped inside the pickup.  He is in critical condition.

Rain slick roads may have contributed to the single-vehicle accident that occured in the northbound lane (going toward Lebanon) between Chik-Fila-A and Andy’s Frozen Custard. The driver was the only person in the crash.
