Rutherford County EMS of the Year Honored by The Exchange Club of Murfreesboro

Ollie Leslie III, Critical Care Paramedic, Rutherford County Emergency Service ( RC-EMS ), is the recipient of The Exchange Club of Murfreesboro Outstanding Rutherford County EMS for 2019-2020.

Ollie has been with RC-EMS for three years was chosen by his peers for the outstanding professionalism and patient care he offers the community.

Husband to Olyvia and father of two boys, Ollie has been Field Training Officer with RC-EMS for a couple of years. He states he enjoys helping new Paramedics learn how to care for the public along with helping them in their skill.

Brent Carter, RC-EMS Public Relations states “Ollie is always good to jump in and help with anything that needs done from patient care to day to day operations.”

Ollie states “I have wanted to be in emergency services all my life and hope to spend the rest of my life serving the community.”

Community service is the lifeline of The Exchange Club. The Program of Service that most allows The Exchange Club of Murfreesboro to identify leaders in our community who accept the challenge of excellence in their position of Emergency Medical Services ( EMS ).

For years The Exchange Club has honored our law enforcement officers and our local fire fighters. It was realized that a key contributor in the community was EMS, and The Exchange Club started in 2019 recognizing the outstanding Emergency Medical Services with an annual award.
