(MURFREESBORO)  The Exchange Club of Murfreesboro completed its “National Day of Service” Project on Saturday (10/24/2020) by adopting The Family Center located at 115 Heritage Park Drive. Club members volunteered their time by removing leaves from the gutters, raking leaves, mulching around bushes and the sign, trimming bushes and trees, repairing the fence, replacing landscaping rock, pressure washing the sign, curbing and sidewalk.

2019-2021 Exchange Club of Murfreesboro President Melissa Blair Wright said “Community service is the lifeline of The Exchange Club. This “National Day of Service” gave The Exchange Club an opportunity for our Motto of “Unity for Service” to be performed.

Project Chairman Exchange Club Member Brain Hongsermeier stated “The Family Center is part of our National Program, the prevention of child abuse and neglect. By lending labor to sprucing up the facility we hope to make the building more inviting.”
