The top four counties of Tennessee's 95 are:   first place is Shelby (which is Memphis), second is Davidson (Nashville), then Knox County and fourth is Rutherford.

Farley strongly encourages the public to take advantage of early voting . . .

Secretary of State Tre Hargett noted, “We have seen high turnout numbers during early voting, and I urge Tennesseans to take advantage of these final days of early voting."
During early voting and on Election Day, Tennesseans are encouraged to wear a face covering and maintain a six-foot distance from poll officials and other voters. Voters should expect to see signs with further safety instructions at their polling locations. All poll officials will be wearing face coverings and will be trained in social distancing measures.
Farley explained that there are 195,000 registered voters in Rutherford County, but approximatelhy only 187,000 still live here. He feels that the balance have moved elsewhere, but have not registered at there new home. As a result, they are still on the files here. Again, as of noon Tuesday--100,377 voters in Rutherford County have cast their ballots.
