(MURFREESBORO)   Riverdale High and Lascassas Elementary Schools will switch to distance-learning effective Wednesday through Friday of this week (December 2-4, 2020).

Rutherford County Schools Communications Director James Evans told WGNS, "The schools are experiencing an increased number of employees and students who are on quarantine. So the schools are closing for a few days to allow time for some of them to complete their quarantine period."

He noted that the schools will also be thoroughly cleaned while closed.

Again,  Riverdale High and Lascassas Elementary Schools will switch to distance-learning effective Wednesday through Friday of this week.
