(MURFREESBORO)  With the coronavirus pandemic constantly creating changes, here is an update on "distance learning" schools as of now with the Rutherford County system. 

• Three schools reopening to in-person learners on Monday:
• Riverdale High
• Rockvale Middle
• Rockvale Elementary
• Lascassas Elementary’s distance learning has been extended by one day and will now reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 8 (parents have been notified)
• Oakland High’s distance learning has been extended through Thursday, Dec. 10 and will reopen on Friday, Dec. 11 (parents have been notified)
• Roy Waldron Elementary (main campus), as previously announced, will be on distance-learning through Thursday, Dec. 10
• Siegel High School, as previously announced, will be on distance-learning through Friday, Dec. 11.

So as of Monday, Dec. 7, we will have four complete schools out of 49 on distance-learning.
