(MURFRESBORO)  Construction crews continue the massive renovations at the Broad Street Center on Northwest Broad at West Clark Boulevard. Sharon Qualls with Murfreesboro Building and Codes told WGNS that the permit shows they should finish by this coming spring. 

Crews are working on the storefronts, including display windows. 

Qualls noted that the space next to Big Lots is a 20,000 square foot showroom. She said that space is designated for Badcock Home Furniure & More. 

The other space is labeled as "white box retail", which means it is a large area that could be divided into one or two retail outlets--depending on client requirements. The term "white box" means that this new commercial space is strictly an interior shell, so that the new tenant can create the interior they desire. 

In addition to Big Lots, Broad Street Center also includes Sky Zone, Dollar Tree, Tuesday Morning, Champy's, Arby's and other retailers.
