A listener told WGNS that Rutherford County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Derek Oeser helped when a family crisis erupted. His calm and professional demeanor saved her older brother’s life. Lieutenant Oeser commands the sheriff’s Crisis Negotiation Team and also shares his knowledge and experience as a crisis intervention instructor.
