(MURFREESBORO)  A listener tipped WGNS about a possible road rage incident around lunchtime Tuesday (1/19/2021). It reportedly occurred at the traffic signal on Thompson Lane at Sam Walton Drive. 

Reports from Murfreesboro Police show that two officers responded to the scene at 12:55 Tuesday afternoon and made contact with an individual who was then inside Walmart. The male had a gun carry permit and told police that he never displayed his weapon. 

Murfreesboro Police PIO Larry Flowers said, "No contact was made with a victim, so no report was filed."
