The Rutherford County Schools continue to search for more property in one of the fastest growing areas of the community…

Previously, the county looked to build a school on a piece of property owned by the City of Murfreesboro. Evidently, it is the same acreage that the city purchased to build a park on. The land, which sits at Interstate 840 and Veterans Parkway, proved insufficient for a school or schools…



The Rutherford County Schools will continue to look for property in the Blackman area between 840, Veterans Parkway and Highway 96. The ultimate goal would be to find land that is large enough for an elementary, middle and high school.
