(SMYRNA, TN) A mix of sunshine and comfortable temps are helping workers restore the storm and flood ravaged parks in Smyrna.
They are also working on the playground equipment at J. J. McWilliams Old Rock School Park.
Speed Limits Changed: Don't Learn The Hard Way
One more bit of information for Smyrna residents. The speed limit from Sharp Springs Natural Area to just East of I-840 has been reduced. Originally, it was 45 miles per hour, it was originally 45 miles per hour and it is now 35.
In addition, T-DOT has reduced the speed limit on I-840 from 70 mph to 60 mph from mile marker 60 to 62.
For the safety of the motorists on these roadways, the reduced speeds are anticipated to remain in place until the completion of this project in 2024.
