(NASHVILLE)  The body of the woman found early Sunday morning on Pennington Bend Road near Music Valley Drive has been identified as 44-year old Pamela Paz of Smyrna.

Metro Police medical examiner noted that the Smyrna woman died of strangulation.

Paz’ body was discovered by a passerby around 6:00 o’clock Sunday (5/2/2021) morning in a small parking lot under the Briley Parkway overpass. That’s just off Music Valley Drive.

Police report that the Rutherford County resident had bruises on her face, and that when she was found she had no identification or a cell phone.
