The Cedars of Lebanon pool has been demolished to make way for a splash pad.

That project is expected to be completed by the fall of this year.

There has been a pool in the state park since opening in the 1930's and many Rutherford County families made the short trip to south Wilson County for outings. Officials said the cost to refurbish the old pool was cost prohibitive and the spalsh pad would be able to accomodate more families.
